Terrain: The 5k course has a long fairway start. After 600 meters, the course takes a sharp left turn and begins on the standard loop and follows the perimeter of the golf course.
The course is wide at all points and runs entirely on grass with a few golf cart path crossings. The rolling slopes of the fairways are deceptive, which, combined with the various turns, make for tactical racing. If weather conditions are favorable, times have the potential to be very fast. However, if the November winds whip hard out of the west as they have been known to, you’ll find scant cover from the elements.
Spikes can be worn at the runner's discretion.
