Terrain: Pole Green Park is Virginia’s most iconic cross country course and a premier destination for major championship events. It hosted the 2023 and 2024 USATF National Cross Country Championships, where Team USA was selected for the World Championships. The course has also welcomed the Atlantic 10 Conference Championships, NIRCA and NJCAA National Championships, USATF Junior Olympic and Association Championships, MileStat.com XC Invitational, RVA Relays, and countless high school district, regional, and state meets.
The Upper Course offers flat, fast, European-style grass loops ranging from 2K to 10K, with wide paths (40 feet), a 500-meter straightaway to the first turn, and room for over 400 runners at the start. It’s extremely spectator-friendly and includes handicap-accessible parking within 30 meters of the start line.

Cost: $25 per runner or $500 per team.

Cancellation Policy:
Due to cost per athlete for race services, no refunds are provided once your team/individuals register for the race.
Eligibility: This is a QUALIFYING event.
All competitors are student members of a NIRCA member club.
An individual runner's participation in this event meets one of the qualifying criteria to race at Nationals.
