We're also continuing the Stud Muffin tradition:
The Stud Muffin award is scored as the cumulative sum of the runner's place in each running event, scored against other StudMuffin participants. Scoring is similar to cross country, whereby the competitor with the lowest score wins. Stud Muffin competitors must enter in all non-relay running events to be eligible for the award. Teams are not limited in the number of Stud Muffin participants, but must declare participants at the time of registration. DNF and DQ finishes in an event will result in a score equal to the highest place finisher in that particular race plus a 10 point penalty. Runners may only sustain a single DNF or DQ finish. Stud muffin competitors are still eligible to earn points for their team in each event. However, the Stud Muffin award does not add to a team's regular meet score.
