Mechanicsville, VA
Terrain: Mostly flat, spectator-friendly grass course with minimal (1) gravel road crossing.
Spikes can be worn at the runner's discretion.

Directions:
Parking: Follow Pole Green Park Ln into the park until you reach the skate park on the left (across from softball fields). Park in the grassy lot, being mindful of parking attendants -- this lot is immediately adjacent to the race course and incorrect parking configuration could affect the course distance.
Overflow & bus parking at Pole Green Elementary School. Buses may turn around in the paved parking lot past the concession stand & softball fields.
Social Event:
Friday night pasta dinner starting at 5:30pm - tentative per parks & rec rules for indoor group gatherings. Limited seating is available, so sign up now! $12 gets you all you can eat.

Friday 2-5pm. Park rules dictate that runners must be off of the course at dusk.
OPEN 6K RACE
Open 6k Registration will be hosted independently of clubrunning.org- it is open to alumni, ineligible athletes, and the general public. Volunteer for the NIRCA races later in the day for a discount on your race entry! Registration link available soon!

Eligibility: This is a CHAMPIONSHIP event.
Both Team and Individual Eligibility Criteria, based on participation prior in the season, must be met in order to attend Nationals.
Once eligible, Qualification standards (based on team and individual finish at Regionals) establish how many and in which competition individuals/teams will race at Nationals.

*Club leaders: Eligibility forms require university registrar to verify academic standing. Forms must be submitted once per season, Fall & Spring, before each deadline. Teams without eligibility forms are not permitted compete.
