Qualifying Positions for Fall 2018 XC Nationals

October 30th, 2018

Cross Country National Championships qualifying positions have been finalized for Fall season.

These standards were developed with the input of NIRCA club members and club leaders at Winter Conference in January 2017.

The purpose of this change is to address the challenge of a growing field size, runner safety, and limited venues that could accommodate the volume of NIRCA athletes.

Above all, the qualifying standards aim to uphold one of NIRCA's core values -- inclusivity -- regardless of pace or ability.

**Update: 10/27/18: The Pacific Region will now allow four men's team qualifiers, as opposed to the three originally published in September.
