Winter Conference

January 18-20, 2013

Recreation and Physical Activity Center (RPAC), Columbus, OH

The goal of the NIRCA Winter Conference is to promote intercollegiate club running through presentations of state, developmental workshops, and by soliciting feedback from member clubs to help shape NIRCA's future.

Do you want to know where your dues go? Want to see what other clubs do to recruit and retain members, or maybe how best to run your club elections, budgets and membership? Want to meet your fellow club runners from across the nation and build rivalries for the coming Road and Track Season, or the fall Cross season? The ideas and comments that you provide at Winter Conference will directly impact NIRCA's future plans and policies. Winter Conference is your gateway to all this and more!

Winter Conference is centrally located and aptly timed amongst NIRCA schools and schedules, in Columbus, Ohio the weekend of January 18th. Take the long MLK Day weekend to make your voice heard, hear others' opinions and progress the club running community. Topics this year include

  1. Spring Track and Half Nationals developments
  2. 2013 Fall Cross Country Nationals Location
  3. Club Development and techniques, for both big and small clubs!
  4. Race Management tricks and successes

Club officers and runners interested in presenting or serving a student-led forum should contact Julia Stulock at julia.stulock@clubrunning.org by December 1. Presenters and panelists may be eligible for a travel stipend.
