Drug Uses
Anafranil is indicated for curing obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD). It can also be used for other situations as determined by your doctor.
How Taken
Use Anafranil as directed by your physician. To avoid stomach upset take Anafranil with a meal. It can take two - three weeks before you feel the effect of Anafranil. Continue taking Anafranil even if you feel well.
More Information
Anafranil can cause drowsiness, dizziness, or blurred vision. These effects can worsen if Anafranil is taken with alcohol or certain other medications. Use Anafranil with caution. Do not drive or perform other possibly unsafe tasks until you know how you react to this medication. If your symptoms do not improve or if they worsen, contact your physician. Anafranil should be used only by the patient for whom it has been prescribed. Do not take less or more or take it more often than directed by your physician.
